Assets are stored in a Safe smart contract wallet that the user owns and controls. Gnosis Pay never takes custody of the user's funds. User authorizes transactions through their connected wallet.
Risk: If provider ceases operations, users keep full access to their funds. The Card Safe is specifically configured for card functionality - users are warned against manually modifying the Safe configuration as this may disrupt card operations.
